Insurance Reimbursement
Mentaya
Mentaya is a HIPAA compliant platform that can help you use your out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits to get insurance to cover part of the cost of therapy. They can instantly check your benefits and can submit claims after each session.
Here's how it works:
1. Sign up for Mentaya: https://mentaya.co/inviteclient/BMHOI4r5uhh0VxV8HsJw
2. Our practice will enter your sessions into the platform.
3. Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.
4. You get reimbursed by insurance!
Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies.
They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of their fees.
Superbill
I can send you a superbill via your client portal, where you then can submit it to your insurance company to seek reimbursement for some of the cost of therapy.
Insurance companies
I am in-network with the following insurance companies:
United HealthCare UHC | UBH
Optum
HealthPartners
Student Discount
If you are attending university and I am an out-of-network provider with your insurance or you are wanting to use self-pay, you will be able to receive a 25% discount on counseling sessions.
